AID Seattle wants everyone to be able to read this website and take part in the chapter's work. This page explains what we have done, what still needs work, and how to tell us about a problem.
Each page has one main heading, and its sections follow in order, so you can move through a page by heading.
Links say where they go, rather than "click here".
Text and background colours meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1.
Event listings give dates and places as text.
Pages adapt to phone screens and browser zoom.
Photos that carry information have text descriptions.
Older event pages. Some past event pages show details only in a poster image. If you need those details as text, email us and we will send them.
Services run by others. YouTube videos, Google Forms, the volunteer workspace and AID's donation pages are run by other services. We have not fully tested them with assistive technology.
Site layout. Google Sites controls how the menu, search and footer work, so we cannot change them.
Volunteer form. The volunteer form asks for a WhatsApp number and a Google account email. If you cannot use either, email us and we will get in touch another way.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This website has not been independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance.
